RUVA

Ruva is a Australian born singer songwriter who has been gracing Australian stages since high school. With a Zimbabwean heritage her music and voice possesses strong RnB, Gospel and Afro influences.

While studying at the acclaimed Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School she was the recipient of the ‘Young leaders Jazz Award’, performing at Federation Square and Bennets Lane Jazz Club. Soon after her completion of high school she released Her debut e.p ‘Riv & The nu Front’ which reached number 14 on the Itunes RnB charts and was a critical success.

Ruva made her musical theatre debut as ‘Shenzi’ in the Australian Tour of Disney’s ‘The Lion King’. After completing te tour she then went on to perform in Queen and Ben Elton’s ‘We Will Rock You’.
